A Chinese porcelain monochrome blue-glazed jar, guan, Jiajing period, the sturdily-potted jar of compressed baluster form with wide swelling shoulders, covered in a deep blue glaze that stops just short of the foot, thinning to pale blue around the slightly-protruding rim, the base unglazed, 15.3cm high明嘉靖 藍釉罐 品相報告 Condition Report: A nibble to the inside of the rim, with a slight graze to the glaze near the same area, with an old hairline running down off the rim. The interior with an old star crack to the glaze. Surface wear to the exterior, with many scratches to the glaze, all commensurate with age.
