AN ARCHAISTIC HAN STYLE GRAY GLASS ‘IMITATION JADE’ CHILONG PENDANTChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Crafted in the style of the Han Dynasty as a horned chilong positioned in a recumbent pose, with its feet tucked underneath the body incised with archaistic motifs, the mouth pierced. The translucent glass of a light gray tone with very few creamy areas. Condition: Excellent condition with some wear. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
