A THANKGA OF MANJUSHRI, 19TH CENTURYTibet. Distemper on cloth, with a silk frame, mounted as a hanging scroll with wood handles. Depicting Manjushri seated on a lotus base, with four heads and eight arms holding various attributes such as the sword of wisdom, a dharma wheel and a vajra, surrounded by four deities, one at each corner. Condition: Good condition with minor wear, little soiling, minor creases, tiny losses, and few touch ups. The silk frame with minor loose threads. Provenance: Croatian Private collection.
