A MIXED LOT WITH SIX OUDONG AGATE INTAGLIO SEALSCambodia, Oudong period (1618-1863). The lot comprising six circular agate seals engraved with dynamic representations of human figures, a bird, a fish, a conch, and a bull. The translucent stones of a reddish orange color with milky white cloudy inclusions. Condition: Good condition commensurate with age, some with grooves to the backside. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Dr. István Zelnik, President of the Hungarian South and Southeast Asian Research Institute, is a former high-ranking Hungarian diplomat who spent several decades in Southeast Asia, building the largest known private collection of Asian art in Europe.
