A MULTICOLORED SASANIAN ISLAMIC GLASS BEADPresumably Sasanian Empire (224-651 AD). Of tubular shape tapering towards both ends and with a transversal perforation for suspension, decorated with an intricate yellow and light blue feather design within blue lines, all on a dark blue semi translucent ground.Condition: With some wear and expected manufacturing irregularities, few nibbles and fritting, with a repaired breakage to one end. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
