A SASANIAN CARNELIAN INTAGLIO INSET SILVER RINGThe seal presumably Sasanian, ancient Persia /Iran, c. 3rd – 6th century or later, the silver setting dating to the 19th century. The silver ring engraved with ornamental designs and inset with a carnelian seal incised with a horse.Condition: With traces of wear commensurate with age, the seal with breakages and repairs. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
