Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty mother of pearl inlaid lidded boxes. Crafted in a slight thick shape body, tapered on four corners creates semi-octagonal form. The upper half forming the cover fitting perfectly along the smooth edges on the box. The upper dome lid adorned with flowers blooms among rocky and foliage, enclosed with double ring interrupted lines created medallion on the center, the outer rim decorated with geometric pattern banded with single ring lines surrounded the rim, and flowers blooms on the each edge. The exterior side panel decorated geometric pattern, enclosed with single ring line. The Mother of pearl inlaid are seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The boxes are very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on under base, a four gilt script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty. Dimensions (Largest in set): 1-3/4" H x 5-1/8" W
