Chinese, late 19th/early 20th century celadon jadeite, standing figure in flowing gown with hair in bun, holding a lotus flower, beside a phoenix resting on a mound, 9-3/8 in., with finely carved reticulated base, possible chip to side of gown below hand, small abrasion to side of gown at base, small flake to lower edge of robe, external fracture visible to back of figure, small loss below beak of phoenix, discoloration to stone at base of figure and rear support of phoenix, glue residue on top of wooden base.
