Transparent amber of untreated golden-brown color, the surface with a smooth and shiny surface polish, some natural inclusions.. China, 1800-1860
Carved in relief to depict a fisherman with his angling rod, the backside with a crane and a turtle on a rock.
Shape: Flattened pear shape
Hollowing: Very good
Mouth, neck and lip: Neck succinct to body, flat base of neck and small mouth
Base: Oval with raised foot rim
Stopper: Rock crystal with rutile needles on a black onyx platelet
Height of the bottle with stopper: 4.6 cm.
Width of the mouth: 4 mm.
Width of the neck: 11 mm.
Condition: Very minor chipping to rim of neck, larger chips to foot rim (one filled), some chipping to exposed areas of depiction, overall still fair condition
