Cast bronze with intensive age patina. China, 18th -19th century
Decorated in high relief with revolving archaic borders showing dramatic lion-masks on top of a meander pattern, a meander scroll below the rim, the six-character apocryphal Xuande mark in a rectangular reserve, a hall mark on the bottom.
Shape: Square shape with four feet, two handles and a raised rim
Dimensions: 28 x 28 x 21.5 cm.
Condition: Extensive patina, the original bottom re-attached with crude soldering, some deeper corrosion to neck
