Elegant lantern vase with colorful ‘Famille Rose’ painting. The wall with a dense ‘Millefleurs’ background and with large areas of openwork decoration in different geometrical patterns between yellow borders. Each side with a circular cartouche depicting flowers and genre scenes. The top with projecting crown-like rim. On a corresponding stand with ‘Millefleurs’ decoration and petalshaped openwork. Inside the lantern an old collection’s label, reading: ‘The Jade Dragon, No. 575’.
Shape: Bulbous hexagonal shape with projecting upper rim and on corresponding stand
Dimensions: 38,5 cm (total height), 29 cm (height of the lantern), 11,5 cm (height of the stand)
Condition: Smaller restoration to the top rim.
