Description
Translation provided by Youdao
The glaze of rich and intense liver red color, the foot and foot rim unglazed. China, 18th – 19th century, possibly an earlier example from this period
The slender ovoid body rising from a spreading foot to a wide waisted neck flaring at the rim, with an embossed ring around the lower end of the neck, the glaze stopping unevenly at the foot rim. Beautiful progression of the striking glaze on the inside of the vase.
