Compact carving in the oval shape of a pebble stone, depiction of a seated monkey holding a large carp with scaly body in his hands, the animals placed on a domed lotus leaf with involute rim and large lotus pot
Shape: Oval pebble shape with sculptural and vivid, partly dimensional carving in the round, details reticulately carved out of the stone, one main drilling hole under the chin of the monkey for the mounting, another smaller drilling hole on the tip of the lotus leaf
Dimensions: 4,5 cm (height), 3,4 cm (width), 2,4 cm (depth)
Condition: Overall good condition with natural veining of the stone, smaller chips, fine hand patina
