Silk with multi-colored silk & gold brocade threads. China, around 1920

This lot comprises a total of six finely embroidered sleeve bands, building three matching pairs – each pair still on an uncut piece of silk. All three pairs show picturesque landscapes with pavilions, trees and rocks. On two pairs scholars and court people are to be seen as well.

Condition: Very good condition with few loose threads and minor staining
