This turquoise colored informal Waitao domestic lady’s jacket shows floral embroidery decoration standing out prominently against the patterned background. The embroideries depict four floral roundels amidst smaller floral and vegetal arrangements. The hems at the lower part, collar and sleeves are featuring a broad, black and embroidered band with floral decoration. Crème colored silk bands embroidered with court ladies in the palace gardens round off the sleeves.
