Opaque white glass with delicately painted polychrome enamels.. China, 20th century

Lovely circumferential depiction of the famous 8 immortals shown in a wavy river. Three of them are riding in a boat, one on a cloud, one on a crab, one on a lotus leaf, one on a carp and one on a wave. The level of detail in this bottle is simply stunning, and barely visible to the naked eye – its close inspection with a magnifying glass is therefore highly recommended. Several neatly painted borders frame the design both on the lower and upper end.

Mouth, neck and lip: Sprawling cylindric neck, the base of neck flat, the mouth cylindric and of larger size
Base: Oval, with raised foot rim
Stopper: Glass stopper, in imitation of coral
Height of the bottle with stopper: 6.7 cm.
Width of the mouth: 7 mm.
Width of the neck: 16 mm.
Condition: Excellent condition
