Both censers are made of partially gilt bronze, come with their original covers and are decorated in ‘imperial’ blueground cloisonné. China, Qing dynasty, 19th century
Each modelled in the form of a duck squatting on its haunches, decorated with archaic inspired scrollwork in yellow, green, red, blue, white and pink on a turquoise ground, with stylized feathers on the wings forming the cover, the faces feet with neatly incised details.
Shape: Sculpted in the natural shape of a duck
Dimensions: Height 20 cm each.
Condition: Good condition with old patina to bronze, one smaller dent to bottom of one censer, and minor hairlines and chipping where the bronze meets the cloisonné areas
