Solidly potted porcelain painted in bright enamels on white ground, the base and foot unglazed. China, Yongzheng, 1723-1735

Description, school, inscriptions, marks, styles: The painting possibly depicting a scene from the Beijing Opera (see literature comparison), with a noble man riding on a horse, accompanied by an attendant, as well as a noble lady with a companion, all four watching a scholar or hermit in the center of the scene. The neck with a rendezvous scene.

Shape: Simplified Fengweizun ‘phoenix tail’ shape
Dimensions: Height 37,5 cm,
Condition: Most of the original bottom has been replaced by an inserted ceramic plaque. The vase shows some glaze scratches and wear and could use a deep cleansing. No cracks, chips or restorations whatsoever. One minuscule ‘spider’ hairline to glaze only, at the rim of the neck, about 8 mm long.

雍正硬彩人物故事鳳尾尊

畫面描繪的可能是京劇中的一幕，書生騎
馬，書童陪伴，上方一位貴婦也在丫鬟的陪
同下，所有四個人都看向場景中中間一位
老者。瓶頸部為約會場景。
形狀：鳳尾尊
尺寸：高 37,5 厘米
大部分原始底足也被插入的瓷板代替。釉
面有劃痕和磨損，可以使用深層清潔，沒
有裂縫、碎片，頸部邊緣有髮絲裂縫，約8
毫米長。
