Finely painted depiction of a Christian subject in typical Chinese style. Madonna carrying the baby Jesus and walking in an idealized Chinese landscape. On the right a tree with two angels, dressed as Chinese children, admiring the scene. In the background with blossoming prunus trees in front a cloudy mountain landscape. In the lower right foreground a rock with additional plants. Inscribed in Chinese on the lower left side Taicang Lu Hongnian jing’hui （Lu Hongnian, from Taicang, painted with respect, signed with two red artist seals.

題。麥當娜携帶耶穌聖嬰，走在理想化的中
國山水中。右邊有兩個天使，穿著中國孩童
衣服，觀看著場景。背景樹林遠山，前面雲
霧伸騰，左下方藝術家簽名“太倉陸鴻年敬
繪”。另有兩個藝術家印。
