This flag-shaped embroidery shows the artistic portrayal of an imperial, fiveclawed dragon amidst clouds, flames and bats. The magical pearl is wafting over the creature’s head. The lower end of the central cartouche shows classical wave, cloud, mountain and lishui stripe décor.
Shape: Die-cut, flag-shaped, vertical panel
Dimensions: 42 x 210 cm
Condition: Good condition with minor wear and signs of age such as few loose threads. Color is somewhat faded.
