A GLAZED CERAMIC `DRAGON´ VESSELSoutheast Asia, c. 1920s. The recumbent dragon with the mouth wide open in a ferocious snarl, the fierce expression further marked by pointed ears and two horns, the body defined with a prominent spine and a large sharp tail, the top and mouth with an opening. Covered in a thick, crackled, ivory white glaze, the underside revealing the buff ware. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws, including open bubbles, and pitting.
