Very Fine Chinese Qianlong gilt open face landscape Zun vase. Bulbous body, elongated neck with slightly tapered to a wide opening. Two Elephant bust ears flank the neck. Uniform thickness of applied blue glaze throughout. The elephant represents Power, Energy, Strength, and Prudence. Central salubrious mountainside vista overlooks a grandiose palace amidst low hanging clouds. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Mark on base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
