Chinese Qianlong blue porcelain lidded round box. Sturdily potted in a shallow cylindrical vessel with a slightly domed lid. The exterior delicately decorated in blue underglaze hand painting, depicting a large central dragon encircled by lotus blooms and extensive vine work. Banded with numerous fine lines on rim and foot. The underside left unglazed, displayed a pale-creme with orange hue and dark firing spots along with edge-cut on foot rim. The enamel is immaculate showing a smooth sheen and refined artistry. Mark on receded central base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
