Wondrous Qianlong Blue Meiping Vase skillfully glazed. Thick Chinese porcelain shaped into a voluptuous form, with a narrow base, wide body, narrow neck, and a small opening. The exterior is uniformly coated in a beautiful monochrome blue glaze that shows an even thickness throughout. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. The underside base reveals the pale white underglaze with a few striations. Mark on the plain white underglazed base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
